From October through December, follow the rhythm of Holbox: slow mornings by the sea, meals that turn into long conversations, and sunsets with nowhere else to be.
OCTOBER
Bonding Season at Nômade Holbox invites you to let the tide undo the year. Guided by the rhythms of the island and the people who gather here, it brings music, movement, food, and shared rituals together in moments that give you space to reconnect—with nature, with others, and with yourself.
The days find their own rhythm here. A quiet morning gives way to a table full of stories, music at sunset, and the simple pleasure of being present. As the tide comes and goes, Holbox makes room for what the year has left behind—and for the connections you’ll carry forward.

OCTOBER
This October, let Holbox set the pace. Begin your mornings with yoga, reconnect through sound healing and intuitive practices, and gather for live music as the sun goes down.
The month culminates in a Día de Muertos ceremony honoring the people we remember and the connections we carry with us.
A WEEKEND OF ALTARS, MUSIC AND CONNECTIONT
SIX ELEMENTS BRING THE wEEKEND TO LIFE
Each element has a purpose. Together, they create a Weekend that guests can see, hear, smell, taste, and take part in.

ALTAR
The altar extends beyond a single display. Guests enter it, move through it, and add their own offerings. The entire space becomes a place of remembrance.

FIRE AND LIGHT
Candles and fire cast a warm glow across the offerings and gathering spaces. Light guides guests through the night and draws them closer to the ceremony.

FLOWERS AND COPAL
Marigolds, copal, and candle wax give the night its distinctive scent. Their presence is felt even before the altar comes into view.

MUSIC
DJs and musicians perform among the guests, allowing the music to become part of the gathering and its rituals.

THE TABLE
Food becomes an offering and an invitation to share. The menu honors the dishes remembered and loved by those we welcome back in spirit.

PERFORMANCE
Painted faces, a procession, voices, and moments of silence carry the ceremonies through the spaces.
