KUU JŪ
KUU JŪ
“Kuu” evokes emptiness—the space between things. “Jū” suggests flow, softness, adaptability. Together, the name reflects a Japanese philosophy of presence within emptiness—where silence carries weight and restraint becomes power. It is not loud, not literal, not descriptive. It invites curiosity. It asks for pause.
At the counter, the experience unfolds quietly between chef and guest. A sequence of small gestures—hands, knives, fire—each bite arriving with calm precision. In Ibiza, the omakase listens to the island: Mediterranean ingredients woven into a Japanese structure, where gamba roja, citrus, herbs, and broths shaped by local flavors become part of the dialogue. The ritual remains Japanese, but the story belongs to the place.
Kuu Jū is open for dinner.
